What you Need to Open a Business Account
When opening a business account, we are required by law to verify your business as well as the individuals associated with your business.
Requirements:

The business tax identification number (or EIN) on the official IRS Letter.

Account Application must be signed with a "wet ink" signature. Electronic Signatures are not accepted.

Documents verifying your business registration with a government agency and your authority to act on behalf of the business.

Your business must be registered in the state you are doing business in.

If funding by check, the check must be enclosed with your application. Third party checks are not accepted.

A government issued photo ID or signed passport for each signer.
Business Entity Types:
Must Have:

Certificate of Good Standing or Existence

Articles of Incorporation/Organization and any amendments

Meeting Minutes (Signed and Dated)

Review the entity type associated with your Non-Profit Organization to determine which documents to provide (Partnership, LLC, Corporation)
Must Have:

A 501(c) tax form or state Non-Profit registration may be needed for certain product eligibility

Fictitious Name Registration, also known as Trade Name Registration, Certificate of Assumed Name, Registration of Alternate Name, or Assumed Name Registration

Must Have:
If the business name does not include the legal last name of the owner, you will need one of the following original or certified business documents:

Business License

Registration of Trade Name

Fictitious Name Certificate/Statement
For example: If the owner’s legal name is Janet Johnson, and the business name is Janet Jewelry, you will need the additional documentation. However, if the business name is Johnson Jewelry, you will not.
