BANK OPENS TWO NORTHERN VIRGINIA BRANCHES
Bank Celebrates Growth, Milestones, and Top Honors in Online Banking Options
Bethesda, MD - November 15, 2000 - As Presidential Bank, FSB,
celebrates 15 years in business, it adds to its family by opening two new
branches this fall in Reston and Tysons Corner, Virginia. Presidential now
serves the Washington-metropolitan area with eight branches, and offers
worldwide banking services through its Presidential Online Bank division,
the first U.S. online bank.
In celebration, Presidential offers a one-year CD Special of 7.50 percent APY on a $5,000 minimum deposit. This is only available for a limited time to walk-in customers at Virginia branches. Other Virginia branch locations include Ballston, McLean, and Rosslyn.
Presidential will further welcome customers November 18, 2000, at a WMAL radio remote broadcast at Tysons Corner Mall, across from Presidential's new banking center. The station will award 40 Presidential piggy banks containing certificates for $50 savings bonds. The winners of the banks have the option to use the certificate or receive $100 to open a regular checking account at the Tysons branch.
